A multiband antenna named and invented by “G5RV”  but also commonly known as MFJ-1778.

The material

- The flexible wire 2.5 mm ² wiring.
- Twinlead of 450 ohms.
- The 50 ohm coaxial.
- 1 plate pvc to make the spacer in the center. (Or after PCB)
- 1 plate for support pvc Twinlead between 50 ohms and the coax (eg SO239)
- 1 chassis jack SO239.
- 2 insulators.
- Of nylon for the turnbuckles.


Coasts

Each side of the antenna measuring 15.54 meters, and will be spaced in the middle of 12cms.
The descent Twinlead attacking the center of the air will be about 9.30 meters.
Twinlead cable will be attacked by a balun at air made ​​with the connecting cable to the transmitter, ie 8-10 laps on a diameter of about 15 cm (not critical).

The antenna must be placed at least 10 feet above the ground for proper operation.
The TwinLead must be perfectly vertical throughout its length, and away from metal objects.
