I built a 32 inch loop that sits in my attic. It has been very successful on 20 meters. I live in a condo and it is the only antenna I can use. I added a multiturn pot to the motor driving the vacuum variable. It provides an indication of the loops' frequency in the shack. Some fine tuning is necessary, but I would recommend some type of remote indicator. It's a great help.

Used 50' of 3/8 copper conduit, hung 20' up from a tree. As good as a dipole on 75. Antenna tuner in the shack gives 70 kHz bandwidth. Pictires, details on the site http://x44.cc
